brrrr.... it's cold!

With this weeks cold spell, I truly cannot wait for Spring Break! What I love most about the Spring semester is that you get a break half way through. In the fall it always seems like those last few weeks before Thanksgiving go by slow, but thankfully the spring gives us a week to enjoy the sun, the snow but most importantly a break from classes.

This year I had planned to go to Mexico to visit my cousin during my week long break, but decided to wait until June so that I could stay a ltitle bit longer and not fight with airfare prices over one of the busiest weeks in the year. Instead I'll be doing it up big in Denver, Colorado- helping my mom at work, sleeping, maybe shopping a little and accomplishing some of the projects and work that I couldn't get to before my week off.

When we all get back in a week, I'm sure the atmosphere will reflect the anxiety of students fixing grades they let slide, and preparing for the end of the year. The time from after Spring Break until Finals is not very long, so it always is full of events and due dates.

For now, I've got spring break on the brain, and can't wait to get a few days off!
